Hip, humble and full of hope, Father Owen is an inspiration to his congregation.
This peaceful priest offers words of comfort and encouragement daily.
Then one day Clair Elbertson comes to him with a secret; a harmless minor league scandal at first glance.
All too soon he realizes even his life will be changed forever.
Can he protect Clair and her family?
Can he convince Marta to trust him?
Can he protect his own secrets?
About CRAIG SHILOW
I am Craig James Shilow.
I was born February 13, 1962 in rural southwestern Louisiana in Eunice.
I am Creole. A beautiful blending, a “gumbo” if you will, of West-African, West-European, and American-Indian cultures.
My parents are Claude Allen Shilow of Ville Platte, and Versie Marie Reney of Eunice. I am the middle child of five siblings. I was born, reared in a traditional, middle-class, and Catholic family. A focus on education, and strong work ethics.
I attended Teurlings Catholic in Lafayette, and graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now U.L.of L.) with a B.A. degree in the College of Arts, Humanities and Behavioral Sciences.
From 1986-1992, I served in the United States Air force as a military police officer. Served six consecutive years in Europe. Honorably Discharged.
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LA 2429-01), a 2001 graduate of Louisiana Institute of Massage Therapy, Lake Charles, Louisiana. In 2007, I opened my own massage business “Southern Comfort Massage, LLC”.
I have been interested in acting since I was a child. I performed in community theaters, and sung in church choirs. My film career stated in 2009 as an extra in: “Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins”, “12 Rounds with John Cena”, a doctor in “Mystery Diagnosis”, cameraman in “Alien Tornado”, and a TV commercial for the New Orleans Saints. Speaking roles: “The Hearse” (priest), and in “Passing Trains” (psychologist).
I have studied with veteran Hollywood actor/coach Lance E. Nichols, and Dean West. I would love to be an actor in Science-fiction and Action/Adventure movies.
My personal goal: To become a professional working actor.
I thank God for giving me the gifts and talents, and the support from family and friends.
